Beach Musings – photographic exhibition

As part of the 2021 Adelaide SALA Festival, I have created an exhibition of framed photographs. Each photograph is of stunningly beautiful Henley Beach and has been printed with archival quality ink.

As an artist, I have gained inspiration for my abstract paintings from countless hours walking along the beach, watching sunsets and sunrises and becoming immersed in the colours and energy. I often use the medium of photography to capture moments and then refer to them as painting inspiration. This is the first time I have presented an exhibition solely of photographs.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

They are currently on display at the Henley Beach Hotel. Later this week, I will also be launching a new part of my website, in which photos will be available for purchase and download.

This exhibition consists of 10 photographs, framed with black frames and white mount board. Professional printed with archival ink, the photos won’t fade. The framed dimensions are 400mm x 300mm (or 300mm x 400mm for the portrait orientation).
